Devoteam
ApplyDevoteam brings together cloud architecture, data, and AI to help companies build for what's next. We are a team of over 10,000 people across 20 countries with more than 25 years of experience. As an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner, we are actively expanding our cloud practice in Sweden.
We're looking for an AWS Cloud Platform Engineer in Malmö or Halmstad to join our team in Sweden and work directly with our customers on their AWS environments. Your work will range from day-to-day infrastructure tasks to scoped, senior-level engagements focused on account structure, identity, and compliance.
Our customers include teams that require reliable, automated infrastructure, as well as organizations restructuring their AWS footprint at scale. These projects involve multi-account governance, IAM Identity Center and SSO federation, service control policies, and audit-ready guardrails aligned with frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
The role comes with a high degree of customer dialogue, where you will act as a trusted advisor, working independently and proactively managing engagements across multiple different customers in parallel.
What you will do
Design, build, and evolve AWS landing zones and cloud infrastructure for our customers, with Infrastructure as Code at the core of everything you do.
Design and implement multi-account structures on AWS Organizations including organizational units, service control policies, region restrictions, tagging, and provisioning baselines.
Design and implement identity and access solutions using IAM Identity Center, including external IdP federation (Okta, Azure Entra/AD, JumpCloud, or similar) and least-privilege, role-based, or just-in-time access models.
Assess the impact of new policies against existing environments before enforcing them.
Act as a direct technical point of contact for the customer by running workshops, working side-by-side with their architects, and presenting solutions clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
Continuously improve reliability, security, and cost-efficiency of the cloud environment, including acting on findings from tools like Security Hub and Inspector.
Contribute to AWS Well-Architected reviews.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, and proactively identify areas for improvement.
Who you are
Experienced AWS infrastructure engineer, comfortable working independently, on-site with customers, and as part of a team.
Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (such as Terraform or CloudFormation) to write policies and account structures as code.
Practical experience with CI/CD tooling (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or similar).
Confident communicating with customers and able to explain technical and policy trade-offs to both technical and business stakeholders, including in audit contexts.
Relevant AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, Security Specialty, DevOps Engineer Professional).
Located In Malmö area or Halmstad area.
Fluent in Swedish and English.
Good to have
Practical experience implementing and documenting logical access controls in a way that stands up to ISO 27001 or SOC 2 audits.
What you get
Continuous opportunities to develop technically and professionally within our AWS practice.
A dynamic and creative environment where you have high autonomy and the freedom to shape your work.
Competitive salary, pension plan and comprehensive health insurance.
Flexible working arrangements that help you maintain a healthy work-life balance.
A strong company culture built on knowledge sharing, collaboration, and mutual support.
We do plenty of activities, like meet-ups, hackathons, and partnerships. Don’t lose any of them: follow us on LinkedIn and our Instagram page
