At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!

This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.

As part of a hardworking team of specialists, and engineers, you will help to coordinate the schedule and priorities of design work for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of the avionics overall strategy. As an Avionics Technical Project Manager you will manage the project schedule, work breakdown, and cost; coordinate schedules to integrate avionics development with the overall program. Collaborate with stakeholders across the program to define avionics requirements and their dependencies on other spacecraft systems for reusable, reliable, and safe human space flight. Create project management plans, and support the avionics harnessing team with other guiding artifacts, including architecture design descriptions and verification plans. Present status, risks, variances, and recovery plans to program management. Track technical performance measures to support the development team in meeting defined performance goals
