Associate Territory Manager

Aroa Biosurgery Limited is a soft-tissue regeneration company that develops, manufactures, and distributes surgical products to improve healing in complex soft tissue reconstruction procedures. Founded in 2008, the company is built on proprietary AROA ECM™ Technology, a novel extracellular matrix biomaterial derived from ovine forestomach. Aroa’s mission is to “unlock regenerative healing for everybody” by delivering a next generation platform that significantly improves outcomes for patients, surgeons, and clinicians.

The company focuses on making its solutions widely accessible and affordable, aiming to change the standard of care in tissue regeneration. Grounded in its name, which is Māori for “understanding,” Aroa integrates biological insight, structural design, and human factors to harness the body’s intrinsic ability to heal.

About the role:

The Associate Territory Manager is a full-time field-based role responsible for partnering closely with the Territory Manager to support the growth and adoption of Aroa Biosurgery’s soft tissue repair portfolio across Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland.

This is a hands-on commercial and clinical role with significant exposure to surgeons, clinicians, hospital teams, and other healthcare stakeholders. You’ll support customer accounts throughout the sales and clinical process, including operating room case coverage, follow-up patient care, product in-servicing, inventory management, and account development.

Working alongside the Territory Manager, you’ll help execute territory plans, develop customer relationships, identify opportunities for growth, and maintain an active presence within key accounts. You’ll also build a strong understanding of Aroa’s product portfolio, the competitive landscape, and the clinical and economic factors influencing purchasing decisions.

For someone looking to continue developing their career in medical device sales, this role provides the opportunity to build deeper commercial and clinical expertise while working directly in the field and contributing to improved patient outcomes.

What you’ll bring:

• Previous sales experience, ideally within medical device, healthcare, surgical products, or another business-to-business sales environment.
• Experience or familiarity working within operating rooms, hospitals, outpatient clinics, or other clinical environments is strongly preferred.
• A strong interest in medical device sales and enthusiasm for improving patient outcomes.
• Ability to build credible, consultative relationships with surgeons, clinicians, hospital staff, supply chain stakeholders, and other customers.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to learn technical and clinical concepts and communicate them effectively to different audiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities including case coverage, customer visits, inventory, and administrative responsibilities.
• Ability to learn quickly and operate effectively in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Flexibility to travel within the territory and occasionally overnight for customer meetings, training, conferences, and company events.

We offer:

• Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage
• Competitive commission plans, enabling you to drive your own success
• Generous paid time off, including your birthday off
• 401(k) plan with company matching
• A collaborative and inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives
• Hands-on development and exposure within the medical device and surgical sales environment
• A chance to directly influence patient outcomes while helping shape the future of wound care and soft tissue repair

Most importantly, you'll join a mission-led organization where your work matters. You’ll work alongside experienced commercial leaders, build meaningful relationships with healthcare professionals, develop your clinical and sales expertise, and help bring life-changing healing solutions to more patients and providers around the world.
