MAKE YOUR STORY REAL

At Siili, we don’t just talk about AI – we make it real. We build AI-powered solutions that deliver measurable impact, combining data, design, and engineering. From recommendation engines to generative AI, our work goes beyond experiments and proof-of-concepts. We deliver solutions that scale and create value for our clients.

As an AI Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying machine learning and AI solutions that help organizations transform how they use data. You’ll work as part of our Data & AI community, alongside data scientists, data engineers, and data architects – but your focus will be on true AI engineering: making models work in production, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.

What you’ll do

Design and implement end-to-end AI solutions, from prototyping to production deployment.

Build and optimize LLM-powered applications and agentic systems integrated into real business processes and systems.

Collaborate with data scientists to turn models into robust, scalable products.

Apply MLOps practices to ensure reproducibility, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Work with modern cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and open-source AI frameworks.

Stay curious about the fast-evolving AI landscape, and bring that insight into client projects.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer who has built real AI solutions – beyond using APIs or experimenting with models.
We hope you recognize yourself in most of these:

2+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or data science, with a solid understanding of key ML concepts such as classification, regression, NLP, and generative AI.

Experience in building production-grade LLM and agentic applications, incl. evaluation, monitoring, and scaling.

Knowledge of core LLM concepts e.g. tokenization, RAG, CoT, reasoning models, memory, fine-tuning, tool use, and self-correction.

Hands-on experience with MLOps, CI/CD, containers, and cloud environments.

Ability to design and maintain data pipelines, ensuring model reliability and performance in production.

Curiosity and drive to stay ahead of developments in AI and apply them responsibly.

Excellent communication and consulting skills — able to guide stakeholders, create understanding, and inspire confidence around AI capabilities.

Fluent in Finnish and English.

Relevant technologies:

LLMs and LLM middleware: GPT, Claude, open-source models, LiteLLM, vLLM

Agent technologies: MCP, agent/workflow frameworks (LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Haystack, Magentic, Strands)

Platforms, e.g. Azure AI Foundry, Amazon Bedrock, Snowflake and Databricks

Cloud: Azure, AWS, GCP

Python

Vector databases, e.g. Pinecone, pgvector

AI powered development tools: ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex

What we offer

A technically strong and collaborative community: You’ll work alongside experienced data professionals who support each other, share insights, and aim for excellence in everything we do. Our culture values respect, autonomy, and peer-driven improvement.

Opportunities to lead and influence: Whether you're passionate about architecture, data platforms, or AI enablement, you'll have the freedom to take ownership and shape solutions that matter.

Real-world impact, not just buzzwords: You'll help deliver scalable, meaningful Data & AI solutions with clear ties to business strategy – not just experimental prototypes.

Continuous learning, backed by top partnerships: We invest in your growth through mentoring, training, and hands-on access to the latest tools via our partnerships with Microsoft, Databricks, Nvidia and more.

Practical benefits: Flexible hybrid work, well-being support, hobby clubs, daycare support for sick children, and a share option program.

Company with a mission: We have a clear vision and purpose, and unique opportunity for you to make your mark as we shape the Data & AI story for a leading IT service company.

Mental well-being at the core: We know that thriving at work requires more than technical skills.
