ABOUT US
The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities. We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better. It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.
Are you an organised, proactive administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you love keeping things running smoothly, supporting teams, and making a real difference through your work? At The Salvation Army, we're looking for an Administration Support to join our Mission Portfolio Operations Team. You'll play a vital part in supporting programs, services, and initiatives that help strengthen communities and transform lives across Australia.
As our Administration Support, you'll be the backbone of day-to-day operations, providing comprehensive administrative support across the Mission Portfolio. From coordinating meetings and events to managing correspondence, finance administration, onboarding activities, and office operations, you'll ensure our teams have everything they need to succeed.
No two days will be the same, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, collaboration, and delivering exceptional support.
Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, this is a permanent full-time position, (permanent part-time negotiable at 0.8 FTE), based on-site at the Territorial Support Office in Blackburn, VIC.
Compensation is in accordance with the SCHADS Award Level 2.
The Salvos offer eligible employees a well-balanced package of meaningful benefits including:
Salary packaging up to $15,900 tax free + $2,650 meal entertainment benefit.
If you're an organised, people-focused administrator who enjoys making a difference through exceptional support, we'd love to hear from you. Please submit your resume and cover letter detailing your alignment with the requirements of the role. Together we can build a brighter future.
Applications will close as soon as a suitable candidate is secured.
