Humnize
ApplyIt’s frustrating, isn’t it? You’re great at solving problems, supporting people, and keeping everything running smoothly—but it feels like no one notices. You’re ready for a role that challenges you, values your skills, and gives you room to grow.
If this sounds like you, we’ve got the perfect opportunity.
Join a Team That Truly Cares
We’re partnering with a trusted IT provider that’s spent nearly two decades helping businesses across Yorkshire operate securely and efficiently. Known for their people-first approach and tailored IT solutions, they don’t just solve problems—they build relationships.
At their heart is a small, close-knit team that values collaboration, creativity, and innovation. They believe in supporting each other, celebrating wins, and sharing ideas. And they’re looking for someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, make an impact, and grow alongside them.
What really sets them apart? They see attitude and willingness to learn as just as important as aptitude. So if you’re proactive, love self-learning, and want to keep growing your technical skills, you’ll thrive here.
As a 2nd Line IT Support Technician, you’ll be the trusted expert clients turn to when things get tricky. From resolving complex technical issues to leading impactful IT projects, every day will offer a new challenge—and a chance to make a difference.
• Own the Toughest Problems: Handle escalations from 1st and 2nd Line teams, ensuring timely resolutions for complex technical issues.
• Manage Client Infrastructure: Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and cloud platforms.
• Deliver Tailored Solutions: Collaborate with your team and clients to recommend and implement technical solutions that keep businesses secure and productive.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Suggest new tools, processes, and best practices to keep everyone one step ahead.
• Technical Know-How: You’ve got solid experience in Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, and virtualisation. You don’t shy away from tricky troubleshooting or advanced configurations.
• MSP Background: Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider environment is a big plus—but if you’ve got the right mindset and can pick things up quickly, we’d still love to hear from you.
• Proactive Attitude: You’re always looking for ways to expand your skill set and take the initiative, whether it’s learning a new tech tool or streamlining a process.
• Growth Mindset: Whether you’re already a seasoned 3rd Liner or a strong 2nd Liner ready to step up, you’re eager to learn, adapt, and take on more responsibility in a smaller team.
• People Skills: You know how to translate “tech speak” into clear, approachable language for clients and colleagues.
• Room to Grow: You’ll have plenty of opportunities to learn new technologies, take on leadership in projects, and shape the future of the IT services they provide.
• Supportive Culture: This is a place that celebrates wins, big or small, and invests in your professional development.
• Impactful Work: Because the team is close-knit, your ideas will be heard, and your contributions will make a genuine difference.
• Competitive Package: Expect a salary that reflects your expertise, plus benefits designed to support you in and out of work.
